Photographer Tony O’Shea documented the sale of turkeys on Dublin’s Mary’s Lane between 1990-93. Then one year he went back and the market was gone, most likely a victim to updated food regulations.
A booklet of the remarkable pictures was published by Cafe Royal Books in 2015, the Gallery of Photography has a signed limited amount left for sale.
