“When it becomes clear that your reality is malleable, your future becomes less terrifying. However, even for the most exceptional, this realisation never comes. We’re rarely in the moment, because we’re forever thinking ahead. Pondering what imprint our next footstep will have, or looking back at the mark we’ve already left, instead of experiencing the movement itself. The idea of the future can be horrifying, anxiety-inducing or joyous, depending on the day we’re contemplating it.
For our second issue we’re looking at fate, expectation, and even impending doom. We’re exploring the concept of ‘future’ and how it shapes the culture, music and art around us.”
